The Grump is back in this delightful sequel to the 2014 Finnish hit “The Grump”. This time, Heikki Kinnunen dons the distinctive furry hat to play the dispirited character. Just as he is getting ready to throw in the towel, his stubborn granddaughter shows up to complicate things.
The Grump wants to die - his work is done and the meaning of life is gone. But right as he begins making final arrangements, a reason to live presents itself. His grandchild Sofia, 17, is in trouble and needs the stubborness and wisdom of her grandfather, as well as a warm fireplace. Through Sofia, The Grump receives new meaning in life... and a big secret. An angry old man and a young city girl are now two halves in a complete person.
