The horrors of the Inquisition are revealed through the tortures subdued by a woman suspected of witchcraft; a masochistic priest whips himself for having impure thoughts about a woman while a witch brews a love potion for a young widow who wants to seduce a priest; and a young nun possessed by the Devil blasphemes a saintly statue.
